HODSOCK PRIORY in Nottinghamshire
Hodsock Priory is a listed building with grade one listed elements within its curtilage. It has private function facilities and a national collection of snowdrops which is open to the public. S E E D developed new strategies for public circulation, ‘back of house’ areas to the function rooms and a new family garden. The family garden is separated from the public gardens by a curved wall within which we proposed three transitional garden spaces. Outside the living room and front door is the family courtyard, this opens up into the entrance courtyard, which has links to the wider landscape and flows into the woodland play garden.
